Gabriella Ramírez Vázquez is a Mexican-born artist whose work combines the tactile qualities of traditional painting with the dynamic possibilities of digital media. Her focus is on the exploration of experiential space through rhythm, movement, light and texture on different materials such as cotton paper, acrylic, canvas and metal.

In her compositions, she fuses painterly depth and texture with digital aesthetics, questioning the boundaries between the virtual and the tangible. The ‘Turquoise Dream’ series is an example of her work: by abstracting natural forms, she reveals their essential nature beyond figuration. The unifying element of turquoise transports the viewer into a space of sensual contemplation, in which the visible gives way to the essential and perception merges with dream.
